The PCA&D ACM SIGGRAPH Student Chapter is a chapter of ACM SIGGRAPH based within the Pennsylvania College of Art and Design community.
Our chapter was founded in fall of 2016. Since then, we’ve grown to roughly 40 members of PCA&D undergraduates, faculty, and alumni. The chapter is facilitated and maintained by four student officers elected at the beginning of every fall semester by the chapter members.
The chapter runs weekly meetings during the PCA&D academic school year, consisting of student-run educational lessons, critique nights, collaborative projects, and social events. In doing so, the chapter has served as a space for students interested in the digital media at PCA&D to share their projects and processes, explore new softwares and techniques, and make connections with both students and professionals in the digital media industry.
